Just a quick note to say how much everyone enjoyed the family party on sunday. The idea of this type of event was highly praised.
The service by staff was outstanding both out at the sports, where several guests are considering doing more of this in future, and inside where nothing was too much trouble for Fiona and her team.
The children enjoyed the play area and are hoping to come back more often, with their parents having noted this as an idea for future birthday parties.
All in all, this has been a family event to be remembered. Thanks for your help in setting it up.

A quick note to say a huge thank you to all of you for Finlay's party yesterday. In spite of the spots of rain, Finlay and his friends had a great time. Fiona and Kirsty were fantastic and kept all the kids entertained the whole time. I'd never been to Cluny Clays before but I'll definately be recommending it to everyone now. Matthew and his friends had a fab time. They had plenty of time to play, then plenty of time at the air rifle shooting activity and they all loved their food. Some friends have said it was the best party ever! Thank you for looking after us all. I would recommend it to friends. We'll be back too!

What they loved:

The natural play area- the boys really enjoyed smashing about on the big bales and it was great that they had such fun from something so simple.

All the Team- Party co-ordinator, kitchen/bar staff and Ian our shooting instructor were brilliant. All very friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough to ensure that we were having a great time.

Ian in particular was great with the boys and his coaching methods ensured that all the boys felt comfortable with shooting- some for the first time- and all hit at least 2 from 5 targets.

The FSB Fife AGM and supper went very well last night and the evening was enjoyed very much by all who attended. We had very good feedback about the setting and the food. Quite a few people had not been to Cluny before and I think you may get a few coming back to use your facilities. Some of the ladies were particularly taken with your childrens' area.

Drew, please thank Kenny for the delicious food and the girls for looking after us so well.

Loved the activities, good instructors for the clay shooting and also had a great time playing golf despite the weather. The day was brilliant and exactly what we wanted.

Both the quads and clays were great fun and well instructed on the whole. I really liked the look and feel of the clubhouse, perfect place to nurse a hangover! Friendly and good banter from all the staff we encountered too.

2nd February 2009 - People development event

The theme of " I'm a ...... get me out of here' worked very well, especially the leaderboard. I liked the format of the trials, and all being under one roof was great.
Everyone enjoyed the evening, the food was delicious and compliments to the chef.
Thanks again, I would recommend you to anyone looking for a great venue.

Retirement party January 09

Just a wee quick note to say thank you ever so much to everyone at Cluny Clays for putting on such a lovely spread for my granny's "funeral tea". I can tell you that the hot soup was very much appreciated by all, as it was an especially chilly day.
I am sorry that there were sandwiches and biscuits left over, but some people who attended the funeral service were unable to join us - sadly they had to return to work.
Once again may I say thank you on behalf of all the family for enabling us to have the funeral tea at Cluny Clays - it was a lovely venue to allow us to celebrate granny's 90 years and also to catch up with other family members.

28th February 2009 - Stag party

Just got home not long ago and wanted to let you know that it was wonderful again. We came last year for my husband's 40th and it was great. This year we decided to buy vouchers for his birthday and my sisters. Were very nervous because we wanted her to like it as much as we did - Fool us! It was fantastic again! The staff are so kind and helpful and the food was as amazing as the last time (my son dived into his steak pie and we didn't see him for five minutes). A special mention for the gentleman that took us for the clay pigeon - very professional but still added a bit of fun to the experience, my son was delighted to press the release button and then carry the empty gun back to reception (made sure I took photos).

We had the most enjoyable day at the centre and in good company which added to our enjoyment of the course and a great game of golf. The course was a good challenge to our members and coaches and from the feedback I have already received, special mention has been made of the warm welcome, the condition of the greens and the friendly relaxed atmosphere in the clubhouse. Our compliments to your staff and green keepers. Accompanying us that day were several new members, who were very impressed with the event, set up and standard of your facilities. They have also stated that they would be recommending Cluny to their friends.
