Today Fiona, Ian and Callum went to Strathallan Primary School to teach the kids a bit of golf and archery, the pupils thoroughly enjoyed it and so did Fiona, Ian and Callum.
At the weekend Ian and Callum were also at The Fife Shows to promote Cluny, we made over £100 teaching archery for 50p a shot, it was roasting weather and extremely busy! Callum got sunburnt it was that hot!
We had a few kids parties in at the weekend too, the kids area was packed and everyone had a great time! The great weather really does make a difference.
The weather just keeps getting better and better, we are all looking forward to a scorching summer then?
Saying that we weren’t our busiest today but did have a few groups in for activities and a lot of kiddies running free in the kids area - can’t keep them away from the straw mountains haha! - were currently adding stuff to the straw mountain so should be great when finished!
Colin had his kids doing their club golf today which was a success, they also got a great tan out in that sun too!
Tomorrow will hopefully be a busier day, remember we have our great outside kids area which you can also buy lunch from our restaurant and eat it outside at our picnic tables - the only thing is we don’t allow you to bring a picnic, sorry! We have a selection of great fresh food just check out our menu on our website…
It has been a very busy and scorching day here at Cluny, the weather has been fantastic! We had Eco Lab and Carters in for the use of our meeting rooms and also had in 15 kids doing some activities with there teacher. They had a wonderful time!
We finally got our kitchen fryer fitted with no problems at all haha. Working well and looks fantastic!

On another note we were due to get a new fryer fitted today in the kitchen.. we waited until 3pm for it to arrive to find out we had been sent the wrong one! Not to mention this wasn’t realised until it was actually fitted! So the old one is back on and we will have to wait on the ‘proper’ one to arrive!

Coming up we have Fiona and Ian attending Strathallan School for a health day on 26th May, Ian is teaching the kids Archery while Fiona is teaching some golf. Also we are going to Fife shows on 22nd May to promote Cluny, which we have just recieved a new flag for our tent which we will set up when we get there.
Any more news on this Volcano? Our fellow worker Lauren is to be flying out to Lanzarote tomorrow afternoon so fingers crossed for her folks!!

Finally the weather has brightened up a bit here at Cluny, we had a miserable morning!
We have a bit of a busy weekend ahead of us, few stag groups booked in, kids parties and a few people in for our ‘Perfect Day’ package.
If you haven’t already experienced our ‘Perfect Day’ it includes, 10 shots of clay target shooting, 30 minutes on archery and 30 minutes air rifles and you could also include golf into the package for extra - starting to get very popular as the weather improves!

Well, Cluny was a busy place for holiday monday yesterday. It went not too bad considering the weather (one minute sunny, the next raining!) All the kids are over the moon with our exciting play area and also our new slush machine in the lounge, we have just got it put in so not too popular at the minute but wait until the summer holiday’s mums and dads!!
On another note we have the dates for our summer camps, monday 12th july - friday 16th july and monday 19th july - friday 23rd july. These camps were popular in the easter holidays so book your slot now!
We had our first Caribbean night at the weekend, it was a 50th birthday party and everyone had a fantastic time! There was a reggae band playing all night and they had a caribbean themed buffet which went down a treat!
We also have the straw mountain back out in the play area for the kids to climb on. It was such a big hit last year that we got a new one brought in last week.
News on the wood
New more challenging targets to shoot at cluny! We have changed many of the targets at cluny as well as our usual skeet, olympic skeet and d.t.l targets. We now have improved the sporting targets to include a mixture of simple, intermediate and difficult targets for the more experienced shots. We have a new ultra high springing teal target, loopers, fast and slow crossing clays as well as a new rabbit trap in range 1. Or why not try our old favourites, the high tower birds (100ft high) driven pair of pheasants, or the very challenging midi - something for everyone!
