'Strictly come shooting'. 25 step event.

Our instructors will show guests how to use the steps in order to score high marks in any routine. Great for those who have never tried clay shooting before.

'Shooting on ice'. 50 step event

A trickier version of 'Strictly'.
Great for those who like a challenge or strictly shot before.

 Archery

Carried out in the exhibition hall, guests can shoot from 5, 10 and 18 metres with our recurve bows. You can choose to shoot with a longbow and/or a compound bow, each are a totally different experience.

Short bow - Shooting from 5 and 10 metres. Scoring is based on tight grouping and highest scores at the various distances.

Long bow - Shooting from 5, 10, and 18 metres. Scoring is the same as with 'short bow'. This event incorporates more use of long bows and compound bows and that makes it a 'wow' event.

The 10 - metre range with 12 lanes and automatic changeover targets is also in the exhibition hall. 'Daystate' 0.22 pneumatic rifles with telescopic sights make for good shooting. Mix and match this with some of the other stag and hen activities

Golf Course

Golf Course

Ideal and interesting for all levels of golfer. It is an 'intermediate', par 32 course with 4 par 3's. The longest hole is a 450yd par 4.

What you get:
9 holes of golf, a half set* of clubs, 3 balls, tees and scorecard.

 Quad bike trekking

Quad bike trekking

Full instruction given before setting off into the woods and fields of the Fife countryside. Hill climbs, rough terrain, water and a speed run home makes this trekking a great experience. We can accomodate up to 25 drivers at the same time.

What you get:
Safety briefing, safety clothing and changing facilities. Showers available on request.

Begin with practise heats followed by qualifying heats, then full on for the final race against the clock to set the fastest time around the track.

 Falconry

Falconry

Ideal for those who would like to enjoy the thrill and experience of handling and flying birds of prey. Under supervision, you will fly an owl and take a walk out over the steading with a hawk.

Throughout your falconry experience you will be taught about the birds' behaviour and how each different bird carves a lining in its natural home. The session includes the opportunity to handle either a hawk or owl and some guests will be able to fly them.

What you get:
A fully supervised, 1 hour handling experience.
