Junior Golf Classes
Next starting Saturday 9th January, 10am
The Cluny Golf Junior coaching has 4 levels. They allow young golfers to progress through levels and into National and Regional coaching. All levels of golf are included in the programmes. Within each level, quality coaching will be backed up with learning the rules of golf, how to stay safe, and etiquette whilst playing the game.
Each level consists of a series of 1 hour lessons.
The coaching is based on Scottish Golf Union's, Club Golf. This is recognised throughout Scotland and works in parnership, Sports Scotland and the PGA (Professional Golf Assosiation). The cost is only £6 per hour.
The Different Levels

Level 1:
Little Cubs

- HOW - A 20-week course split into 4 blocks. Each block consists of 5 weeks of 1 hour classes.

Saturday 24th April - 5 weeks
- WHO - For any new golfers keen to improve their skills. 5-10 year olds.
- WHAT - Golfers learn basic skills including long game, short game and putting skills.
- Demonstrating etiquette, learning the basic rules, marking scorecards and also showing some basic course management skills will be involved.
- Players will also be introduced to the full course where they will have the opportunity to attempt some of the par 3's.

Level 2:
Cubs
|
- HOW - A 20-week course split into 4. Each block consists of 5 weeks of 1 hour classes.

Saturday 9th January - 5 weeks
- WHO - Designed for golfers who can execute basic skills and are interested in improving further.
- WHAT - Long game, short game and putting skills will be developed further, also golfers will learn more about the rules including hazards and penalties.
- Golfers will learn how to maintain a golf handicap and how the handicap system works.
- Further progression onto the full course will be to play 9 par 3 holes, trying to break a score of 45 strokes.

- A 20-week course split into 4 blocks. Each block consists of 5 weeks of 1 hour classes.

Lions
|
- A 20-week course split into 4 blocks. Each block consists of 5 weeks of 1 hour classes.
- By completing level 4 golfers will have the ability to maintain a full playing handicap certificate.
